The Toronto International Gift Fair
Dear Valued Exhibitor,
After thoughtful consideration, we have decided to cancel the Spring 2009 edition of the Toronto International Gift Fair. This is not a decision that was made in haste; rather, one that reflects changes in the giftware industry. To succeed, markets need to be relevant to the customers they serve and we do not feel we can produce a market that will meet your needs and expectations given the current market conditions.
Going forward, we will continue to provide our customers the opportunity to meet new retailers and conduct business in regional markets across the country. We will be focusing our energies on the Alberta, Montreal and Vancouver Gift Shows to ensure that these markets continue to offer buyers the resources they need to be successful.
As an exhibitor at the 2008 edition of the Toronto International Gift Fair we are offering you preferred placement for our other markets. As gas prices and travel costs continue to climb, retailers are searching for cost-efficient alternatives to traveling to Toronto.
We thank you for your patronage in the past and look forward to being of service to you in the future. Call us today to discuss how you can expand your business into one of the strong regional markets!
Sincerely,
Anita Schachter
Vice President
